TOUR TWO
415-999-5369
Our day starts in Union Square with coffee, biscotti, a history of the area and cable cars before heading through the Mission to explore the famous murals, the first mission of SF and the most breathtaking City view! We’ll then visit my favorite Taqueria for a sampling of a delicious and fully loaded taco and chips!
Then it’s off to the Castro to visit several iconic spots and learn about one of our most famous and colorful Supervisors, the notorious “Sisters” and all things light hearted and gay before tasting some yummy sweets that are sure to perk the taste buds as well as shock the senses! We’ll also visit the famous Castro Theater – an original Nickelodeon!
We’ll then head into the always groovy Haight! Peace, love and flowers in your hair is what it’s all about! We’ll visit the City’s best and natural herb shop in town, visit homes of the most iconic stars of the 60’s and 70’s and top it off with a scrumptious tasting and festive cocktail at the most eclectic and colorful restaurant in town!
NOTE: This tour’s final destination is The Haight. You will be at the doorstep of Golden Gate Park! I would recommend entering the park for the Japanese Tea Garden, The Conservatory of Flowers, The CA Academy of Sciences, The DeYoung museum and much more! You are also a short ride to the beach and the Sutro Baths! Directions easily and gladly given!
